Where Can You Buy Stamps?

If you find that going to the post office is a hassle, you don’t have to worry because it’s not the only place where postage stamps are sold. Where can you buy stamps besides the post office? Here are your options:

1. Purchase them online.

Places like Zazzle.com and Stamps.com are popular sites where postage stamps can be bought online.

Zazzle offers interesting stamps that are sold in batches of 20. Browse through the stamps on their site and you’ll find that they’re categorized according to theme – there are wedding, birthday, love, animal, vintage (etc.) themed stamps.

Stamps.com, on the other hand, is a convenient service for people who regularly send mails. You can just print the stamps at home or at the office using a software and a weighing scale that they provide — for free. They even offer a 4-week no-risk trial with a free $25 worth of coupons. Beware, though, as there have been so many complaints against this company, mainly due to problems that arise from cancellations. I’m also doubtful as to their business practices, as they’re offering an 80-dollar free value (free digital scale, coupons, supplies kit) which they say you have no obligation to return after a 4-week trial.

Both Zazzle and Stamps.com stamps are approved by the U.S. Postal Service.

2. Check out groceries and ATM’s that dispense stamps. If you have time and the only reason you don’t want to go to the post office is that it’s far off or there are usually long lines, then you might as well go out and look for groceries and drugstores that sell stamps. Postage stamps are even available in ATM’s, though not everywhere.
